About The Position

Regional Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Outside Sales Representative to join a Critical Power Company based in New York. We’re looking for a driven and commercially strong Regional Sales Manager to take ownership of capital equipment sales across the Northwest region. You’ll be the front-line commercial lead for UPS systems, power controls, switchgear, and generator solutions

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Regional Sales Manager, Business Development Representative, Technical Sales Engineer, Outside Sales Representative
  • Minimum 5+ years in technical capital equipment or power systems sales.
  • Strong understanding of critical power infrastructure (UPS, power distribution, generators, controls).
  • Willingness to travel regularly across the Northwest region for client meetings, site visits, and events.
  • Degree in a technical field preferred (Electrical Engineering ideal).

Responsibilities

  • Drive new capital equipment sales across UPS, controls, switchgear, and generator products.
  • Consistently deliver against revenue targets and territory growth plans.
  • Manage complex sales cycles, proposals, and client engagements from early-stage scoping through close.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, end users, and OEM partners.
  • Represent the business at industry events, workshops, conferences, and client meetings.
  • Work closely with technical, engineering, marketing, and executive teams on sales strategies and market positioning.
  • Provide accurate forecasting, maintain clean CRM reporting, and support contract negotiations.
  • Identify new market opportunities and feed competitive insights back into the commercial strategy.
  • Cover the Northwest Region.
