About The Position

As a Regional Manager , you will lead a team of Territory Managers to drive sales growth and market share across your assigned region. You’ll oversee daily sales activity management, including account ownership of two-step distributors, lumberyards, contractors, and remodelers. Your ultimate goal: achieve sales budgets and execute marketing plans that deliver profitable growth. You will Think Fast by leveraging data and insights to make informed decisions; Work It Together by collaborating with Territory Managers and key accounts to deliver joint success; and Make the Hard Call by prioritizing resources and strategies to meet ambitious goals. Position location: Must reside within the Rocky Mountain region . This role requires approximately 30% travel within the territory.

Requirements

  • Valid state-issued driver’s license.
  • 5–10 years of sales management experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with a track record of coaching, developing, and mentoring talent.
  • Must reside within the Rocky Mountain region.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong public speaking skills and ability to demonstrate products effectively to groups of all sizes.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales budgets and maintain expenses at or below budgeted values.
  • Train, coach, and develop a team of Territory Managers within the region.
  • Drive KPI improvements, including Fiberon market share, dealer share, product positions, and builder share.
  • Participate in strategic planning for the Wholesale channel; translate vision into regional strategies, business plans, budgets, and growth targets.
  • Assist Territory Managers with business development planning for specific market segments and channels.
  • Develop an annual business plan in conjunction with the Divisional Manager to focus on meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers while targeting new accounts; own select account relationships and delegate others to Territory Managers.
  • Acquire and retain key dealers and end users to grow market share.
  • Optimize local distribution strategies to maximize regional impact.
  • Gather and submit detailed business information for proposal development and present solutions to customer challenges.
  • Conduct professional semi-annual Joint Business Planning (JBP) meetings with local distributors.
  • Utilize CRM tools and company sales processes effectively and consistently.
  • Deliver impactful presentations using multiple formats (in-person, virtual platforms like GoToMeeting) to audiences of all sizes.
  • Monitor and report competitive programs, promotions, and tactics to Sales and Marketing leadership.
  • Uphold company policies, procedures, and business ethics, ensuring compliance across the team.
