Eden Foods, a 58-year-old natural food company established in 1968, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the South Central U.S. to represent their artisan, authentically organic pantry food. Regional Sales Managers are crucial for maintaining essential relationships and achieving company goals through collaborative work with sales staff and a food broker network. Responsibilities

Develop working relationships within supply chain systems to ensure Eden items are available and well-merchandised.
Maintain a straightforward, forthright, and professional demeanor and communications, succinctly and reliably carried out with internal and external contacts.
Ensure accurate and thorough communications.
Maintain focus on strategy, plans, and tactics to nourish relationships, share food knowledge, record data, and achieve merchandising goals.
Gather facts for proper qualification of prospects and customers.
Manage, train, and direct Eden food brokers, educating them about Eden Foods' offerings.
Develop and maintain oversight of Eden Foods’ brokers and the value they deliver.
Become and maintain up-to-date knowledge about food, the food industry, and key personnel.
Proactively maintain and update Eden-stored data and records.
Provide Sales and Accounting Departments with projections (within 10% plus-or-minus of actuals) and timely updates.
Allocate promotional budgets in collaboration with headquarters’ (HQ) staff and brokers.
Provide Incentive Agreement data to HQ for completion and consideration.
Proficiently use Eden Foods’ business systems including Salesforce (CRM), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), macOS, Google Mail and Calendar, Paylocity, AcctVantage ERP, and FileMaker Pro, while maintaining prudent security habits.
Continuously improve relationship communications with distributors, retailers, co-ops, eCommerce businesses, food businesses, Eden Foods brokers, and personnel at Company facilities.
Collaborate with Purchasing and Marketing in carrying out duties.
Work with other Departments as necessary and practical.
Distribute Company messages to accurately convey Eden Foods’ work, services, food uses and benefits, and opportunities for win-win business.
Collaborate with Accounting and customers regarding receivables and credit management.
Manage business consistent with Eden Foods’ Terms of Sale and Incentive Agreements.
Professionally document and submit customer dealings that do not comply with the Terms of Sale as an Incentive Agreement (IA).
Provide approved IAs to other parties in a timely and succinct manner.
Help oversee and protect Eden Foods’ rights related to its trademarks and intellectual property.
