About The Position

We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to be responsible for all aspects of our sales and marketing in the Northeast geographical region for all business segments. This position plays a critical role in driving sales, nurturing customer relationships, and expanding our market reach. A great Regional Sales Manager will leverage their expertise and experience to meet and exceed sales targets while providing exceptional customer service. You should have a willingness to learn, improve and grow. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with the team. The goal will be to ensure world-class products and service for our customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years’ experience in sales and marketing, industrial fabrics industry preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% for customer visits and events.
  • Thorough knowledge of, or willingness to learn, the insect distribution market, agricultural, pool cover, tent, and high-performance textiles, including customer, products, trends, pricing, and distribution networks.
  • Proven record of success in exceeding sales and profit plan goals.
  • Experience developing and accomplishing sales and marketing objectives.
  • Ability to multi-task and work at a fast pace.
  • Strong organizational skills required.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain cooperative, diplomatic working relationships at all levels of the company. Work independently and collaborate as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Excellent computer skills: PC, MS Office, ERP, Sales software

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities to target high-value customers and strategic accounts.
  • Plan, execute, and attend industry trade shows, sales meetings, and related events to promote our products.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and point of contact for their needs.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales goals and revenue targets while staying within budget.
  • Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of our products, articulating their value and benefits to our customers.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals which address customer needs and showcase our solutions.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas of growth.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and other departments in the development of new products, product strategies, pricing, and go-to-market plans. Participate in product launch activities.
  • Manage a sales pipeline, tracking leads, opportunities, and sales activities through the sales process.
  • Lead negotiations and close sales deals, ensuring favorable terms for both the customer and the Company.
  • Monitor inventory levels and sales trends to identify slow-moving and obsolete products. Develop strategies for inventory reduction initiatives and sale of these products.
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasting, and performance updates to sales management.
  • Collaborate with the sales team, marketing, engineering, operations, and other departments to achieve company goals.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new sales team members, sharing best practices and industry knowledge.
  • Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction by addressing customer inquiries and issues promptly and efficiently.
