Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline; or equivalent technical sales experience.
  • 3–5 years of sales experience in industrial, municipal, or process equipment markets.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents, drawings, and specifications.
  • Self‑motivated with strong time‑management and territory‑planning skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with mixers, rotating equipment, or fluid/process systems.
  • Familiarity with water/wastewater treatment applications.
  • Experience working with engineering consultants, municipalities, and industrial end users.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute territory-level sales strategies for mixers and related solutions.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across municipal and industrial markets.
  • Grow and support channel partners, including representatives, distributors, and integrators.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and CRM management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with engineering firms, municipalities, industrial clients, and contractors.
  • Conduct customer visits, site assessments, and technical presentations.
  • Provide application guidance and collaborate with the Mixing Solutions team for complex selections.
  • Support the full sales cycle from influence to close, including spec development and value selling.
  • Understand mixing principles, equipment selection, and system limitations.
  • Collaborate closely with Jim Fischer and the Mixing Solutions team to provide advanced application support when needed.
  • Assist with troubleshooting, commissioning coordination, and post‑installation follow-up.
  • Communicate customer feedback to product management and engineering.
  • Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and market changes within the territory.
  • Identify strategic opportunities for growth and report insights to leadership.
  • Support marketing initiatives, tradeshows, lunch‑and‑learns, and training events.
