About The Position

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is the primary front-line sales representative for strategic accounts and is vital to Hach’s ability to deliver customer value and drive growth. In this role, you will manage a defined territory of large customer accounts with multiple influencers and is accountable for delivering revenue results through territory planning, value-based selling, and execution. We will rely on you to build strong customer relationships and position Hach as a trusted partner in water management solutions. Requirements

  • 5+ years of direct B2B sales experience selling complex industrial or technical solutions; experience in water industry preferred
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a territory-based role
  • Experience managing pipeline, forecasting, and opportunities using Salesforce.com (or similar CRM)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Ability to travel up to 60% within the division

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing territory and account plans aligned to revenue targets
  • Managing pipeline, opportunities, and forecasts in Salesforce.com
  • Conducting customer visits, product demonstrations, and evaluations
  • Building relationships with engineers, consultants, and key decision-makers
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities within the territory
  • Mentoring associates and less experienced sales managers
  • Collaborating with inside sales, field service, applications, and technical teams
  • Monitoring market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs
