About The Position

The Regional Sales Manager, Upper Extremities at Stryker is responsible for leading, managing, and developing the Stryker Upper Extremities Sales team. This role drives revenue and develops a top sales team in the Orthopedic marketplace. The position involves analyzing market information, identifying and meeting with new prospects, and creating sales plans and marketing strategies to exceed territory market share objectives. The manager will prepare, monitor, and manage budgets and expenditures, and provide recommendations on pricing schedules and discount rates. Building ongoing partnerships with local hospital staff, surgeons, and internal sales associates is crucial. The role also requires a team-player attitude, with a willingness to provide last-minute back-up support in operating/emergency room consultations or assist with customer/account problems. The mission is to make a difference in people's lives by improving healthcare.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (business or medical discipline preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years demonstrated successful sales experience (in the medical device or industry preferred).
  • 2+ years of sales management experience and/or demonstrated ability to work with and lead others to accomplish sales goals.
  • Knowledge in the use of current office technologies (MS Office suite, databases, etc.).
  • Must be able to travel 50% of the time.
  • May be required to obtain the COVID-19 vaccination as an essential function of the role, depending on customer requirements.
