About The Position

Stepan is seeking a Regional Sales Manager – Tier 2/3 Accounts to join our North America Surfactants team. In this role, you will report to the Vice President of NA Sales. You will be responsible for driving profitable growth across a portfolio of Tier 2 and Tier 3 accounts within the Western region. This role leads a team of sales professionals to execute commercial strategies, strengthen customer relationships, and expand market share.

Requirements

8–12 years of sales experience, preferably in B2B or specialty chemicals
Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing customer portfolios
Prior people leadership experience strongly preferred
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
Ability to translate market insights into actionable sales strategies
Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities
Experience with SAP, Salesforce, and Microsoft 365 preferred
Bachelor’s degree required

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team
Ensure disciplined execution of pricing, forecasting, and pipeline management
Partner cross-functionally to support customer needs and new product commercialization
