This role requires analyzing market information, identifying and meeting with new prospects, creating sales plans and marketing strategies, preparing and managing budgets, and making recommendations on pricing and discount rates. Building ongoing partnerships with local hospital staff, surgeons, and internal sales associates is crucial. The role also involves providing last-minute back-up support in operating/emergency room consultations or for help with customer or account problems.
