About The Position

SPIROL, a global manufacturing leader known for engineering excellence, precision, and long-term customer partnerships, is seeking a Regional Sales Specialist / Engineer. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technical problem-solving and customer engagement, enjoys being in front of customers, understands engineered products, and takes pride in building trust. The position is based at our Danielson, Connecticut headquarters and is 100% on-site. The Regional Sales Engineer / Specialist will coordinate all aspects of customer management, estimating, pricing, proposal generation, and documentation for target and existing customers in the assigned region, with the objective of growing total sales and profitability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or related technical field
  • Equivalent technical selling experience considered
  • Experience in technical sales, application engineering or industrial sales
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and consultative sales methodologies
  • Ability to prioritize multiple functions to meet required deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling into industrial, OEM or manufacturing markets preferred
  • Background in fasteners, precision components, mechanical systems or engineering products preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical resource to customers - understanding applications, recommending SPIROL solutions, and supporting design-in efforts.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and customer service teams to deliver accurate, timely solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEMs and key decision-makers.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations and proposals.
  • Determine pricing, including supply terms and conditions.
  • Monitor regional market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback.
