About The Position

Responsible for driving sales growth, managing customer relationships, and expanding ENC’s market presence in an assigned region. This position plays a key role in business development, revenue generation, and executing sales strategies to meet corporate objectives. This role works closely with internal teams such as engineering, production, and finance to ensure customer satisfaction and successful product delivery.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of the commercial vehicle and transit bus industry.
  • Knowledge of government procurement processes, bid submissions, and contract negotiations.
  • Familiarity with market dynamics, sales strategies, and business development best practices.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, etc.) and CRM software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of sales experience, preferably in manufacturing or automotive industries.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
  • Identify, prospect, and develop relationships with transit agencies, municipalities, fleet operators, and private sector customers.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Track and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to refine sales strategies.
  • Participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to generate leads and promote ENC’s offerings.
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and insights to top management.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of ENC’s products, features, and benefits to effectively communicate value to customers.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing deals.
  • Monitor and respond to bid opportunities, coordinating with internal teams to ensure competitive and compliant submissions.
  • Be a product expert on all our vehicles; work closely with the engineering department to help the sales staff expedite customer technical requests.
  • Travel out of your assigned territory to assist with the other sales team with sales demonstration vehicles. Likewise, the other sales manager will plan on assisting you as needed in your territory.
