About The Position

Leads a team of sales managers and representatives in a designated region driving maximum sales growth and profitability for the organization. This position requires operation of a Personal Vehicle and such operation is done consistently more than 20% of the average work week. If selected for this position, the company will run a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report. A requirement of this position is an acceptable MVR report.

Requirements

  • Must reside in the state(s) specified above.
  • Territory coverage includes the West and Midwest; candidates should reside within the territory, live near a major airport, and be comfortable with up to 70% travel.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Varicent, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline.
  • Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Operation of a Personal Vehicle is required and done consistently more than 20% of the average work week.
  • An acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Experience partnering with Public Sector entities, including Military Housing, Higher Education, and State, Local, and Federal Government organizations.
  • 5+ years of experience managing a sales team, including hiring, performance management, and training of outside sales professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the sales team by resolving escalated issues, leveraging territory data analytics, and implementing creative sales solutions and techniques to maintain a territory vision and consistently deliver sales results.
  • Develop new business relationships, strategies, and opportunities while analyzing field data and reports to determine necessary changes to achieve sales goals.
  • Formulate strategic approaches to successfully acquire new business from prospective customers, dedicating time at the field level to nurture and expand existing customer relationships.
  • Collaborates with internal partners as needed to ensure a strong customer experience and optimize business results.
  • Ensures timely and accurate communication on critical issues to ensure swift and accurate resolution.
  • Supports change management initiatives, effectively coaching the sales team and determining communication cadence, while fostering growth and development of managers and associates to ensure internal growth opportunities.
