About The Position

Workday is seeking an exceptional leader with a stellar sales record to capitalize on strategic accounts as a Regional Sales Director. This role involves leading, coaching, and mentoring a team of Senior Account Executives who sell Workday’s Solutions in the Tech, Media, and Professional Services space. The Enterprise Management Sales team at Workday focuses on growing the company by balancing integrity and innovation, ensuring Workmates have the environment to bring their best selves, and continuously developing themselves and their colleagues. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about driving new business for Workday through complex sales cycles.

Requirements

  • ~12+ years of field sales experience at a SaaS company, ideally focused on new business acquisition.
  • Experience selling cloud/ SaaS/ ERP solutions in a Net New environment.
  • Experience in cultivating relationships with partners and alliances.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful revenue/quota attainment.
  • Experience as a leader in a team selling environment.
  • Understanding of the strategic competitive landscape by staying up to date with trends and customer needs.
  • Proven experience of pulling together different business units to maximize on sales.
  • Experience maintaining accurate forecasting data and business modeling for senior leadership.
  • Self-starter attitude with the ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and mentor a team of Senior Account Executives selling Workday’s Solutions in Tech, Media and Professional Services space.
  • Drive new business for Workday.
  • Lead a team focused on driving complex sales cycles through orchestrating internal teams of pre-sales, value management, bid management, inside sales, marketing and sales support.
  • Employ effective selling strategies to successfully position Workday as a viable cloud partner of choice.
  • Cultivate relationships with partners and alliances.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting data and business modeling for senior leadership.
  • Pull together different business units to maximize on sales.
