About The Position

SMS is looking for a Regional Sales Coordinator to support Regional Sales Managers and Sales Representatives by coordinating and administering construction and forestry equipment sales at a regional level. This temporary role plays a key part in ensuring equipment sales transactions are processed accurately and efficiently, working closely with branches and Central Sales Administration to support timely and compliant equipment delivery.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales coordination or sales administration
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments in a fast-paced environment
  • 5–7 years of experience in sales or administration
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
  • Exceptional attention to detail and adherence to established processes
  • The successful candidate is intrinsically motivated and committed to making safe choices when completing all tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Support Regional Sales Managers and Sales Representatives with day-to-day sales administration activities.
  • Act as a liaison between branches, sales teams, and Central Sales Administration to coordinate equipment and attachment sales.
  • Assist with equipment configuration questions and the use of CRM quoting tools.
  • Monitor equipment arrivals and coordinate completion of Equipment Receipt Documents.
  • Prepare and manage Bills of Lading, ensuring accuracy of serial numbers and release documentation prior to equipment movement.
  • Coordinate interbranch equipment and attachment transfers, including transportation and required documentation.
  • Set up and review branch work orders related to PDI, equipment assembly, and customer-specific rig-up activities.
  • Review work orders and cost worksheets, identify variances, and coordinate approvals with the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Conduct detailed reviews of sales quotes, deal packages, and agreements prior to submission to Central Sales Administration.
  • Track deal status to support customer delivery timelines and communicate delays as required.
  • Set up general purchase orders, code invoices, and coordinate with vendors and Accounts Payable.
  • Support annual equipment and attachment inventory counts and assist with special projects as assigned.
