About The Position

Our client, a provider of fresh Alaskan seafood products, is seeking a Regional Sales Representative to grow its presence across Washington and Oregon. The role focuses on expanding market share across retail grocery, restaurant, and seafood distribution channels by leveraging an existing book of business and established industry relationships. The representative will manage a defined regional territory, develop new accounts, and grow existing business while helping move fresh product effectively.

Requirements

At least 2 years of sales experience targeting retail grocery accounts, particularly small- to mid-size specialty grocery retailers in Washington and/or Oregon.
At least 2 years of sales experience working with seafood distributors and/or direct restaurant accounts.
Demonstrated experience selling fresh or frozen seafood or perishable food products.
At least 2 years of success prospecting new business, building lasting client relationships, and driving SKU conversion.
An established book of business and/or network of contacts in regional grocery, restaurant, or seafood distribution sectors.
Strong understanding of inventory management and margin-based sales strategies for fresh products.
Self-motivated, able to work independently, and capable of managing a regional territory effectively.

Responsibilities

Leverage an existing book of business and industry contacts to drive sales growth across Washington and Oregon.
Develop and maintain relationships with retail grocery accounts, particularly small- to mid-size specialty retailers.
Pursue and grow direct restaurant sales and seafood distribution accounts.
Monitor fresh product inventory levels and develop sales margins to move product and minimize waste.
Prospect for new business and convert new accounts into active SKU purchasers.
Manage and grow a defined territory while identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities.
