About The Position

Apache Industrial Services is seeking a full-time Regional Safety Manager who works with craftsmen and management to ensure compliance with safety and environmental procedures and to help achieve safety and productivity requirements. The ideal candidate has experience in refinery safety, including client and site management, company and customer policy implementation, corrective action processes, and work team development. Competitive candidates have a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of experience in a similar safety management role.

• Experience in refinery safety, including client and site management, company/customer policy implementation, corrective action processes, and work team development.

• Experience in the scaffold industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and implementing safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA requirements.
• Advise on safety compliance concerns and preventive actions.
• Plan and implement employee training in work site safety practices.
• Maintain safety files and records.
• Conduct safety surveys and inspections; prepare written findings and recommendations for corrective or preventive measures; and follow up to ensure measures are implemented.
• Investigate post-accident incidents and prepare reports identifying possible causes and hazards for company personnel and senior management.
• Assist in developing, evaluating, and upgrading safety programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
