About The Position

Ready to take on a highly analytical and strategic role where you directly control the financial success of multiple properties? Join Sandpiper Hospitality (SH), one of the fastest-growing companies in the extended stay market, as our next Regional Revenue Manager! You will be responsible for implementing hotel revenue management objectives across the ESA managed portfolio. Your core mission is to maximize revenues and profit through rate and inventory management of all market segments. You will be the active leader in pricing, distribution, and strategic forecasting, reporting directly to the Corporate Director of Revenue Management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3 or more years of experience in revenue management.
  • In-depth understanding of the principles that impact hotel revenue management, including rate management, inventory controls, and use of restrictions.
  • Strong understanding and ability to interpret STAR Data and Reports and translate findings into actionable strategies.
  • Understanding of the pricing models and strategic application of yielding demand used in the extended stay market (with an understanding of the nightly market preferred).
  • Understanding of common hotel industry challenges and proven solutions to those challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, monitor, and control rate strategies across the portfolio. Update and change restrictions and inventory allotments to optimize performance.
  • Maximize RevPAR by analyzing past trends and future demand forecasts to set/adjust sales strategies designed to increase market share, RevPAR growth, and optimize the market mix.
  • Develop short- and long-term top-line rooms revenue hotel forecasts. Participate and prepare the rolling forecast and annual budget for each property.
  • Generate daily, weekly, monthly revenue management reports and provide critical analysis of strategies, rooms statistics, and demand factors.
  • Facilitate weekly revenue strategy meetings and participate in Weekly Sales Meetings to maintain communication. Champion the Revenue Management culture to property-level personnel.
  • Analyze and optimize distribution channels for maximum benefit of penetration.
  • Monitor all distribution channels to ensure content accuracy, rate parity, and pricing integrity.
  • Manage property participation and production through 3rd Party Internet sites and other distribution channels. Develop relationships with vendors and Internet wholesalers to negotiate optimal placement.
  • Load all preferred and promotional rates in GDS and PMS. Ensure that all revenue management related systems are maintained.
