About The Position

As a Regional Manager, you will be responsible for managing an assigned portfolio of residential communities. Your role involves making decisions to maximize income, minimize expenses, and achieve overall objectives for the communities in your region. You will oversee financial budgeting and reporting, as well as marketing and leasing efforts for all apartment communities in your portfolio. The Regional Manager reports to a Regional Vice President or a Vice President. You will also be responsible for hiring, training, mentoring, and leading on-site professionals. This includes planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; addressing conflicts, and resolving issues. The primary focus includes overseeing property operations to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, representing the Company professionally with clients, employees, residents, and vendors, assisting with budget preparation, maintaining knowledge of monthly budget variances, providing written evaluations of income and expense line items, suggesting capital improvements, approving invoices, and managing the on-site team. ZRS is seeking skilled professionals who are highly motivated team players with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, possess strong customer service skills, and strong organizational and technical skills.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a regional manager in residential property management with supervisory/management experience is a must
• Must have valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record & proof of automobile insurance coverage
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
• Demonstrate excellent computer skills
• Demonstrate excellent verbal, math, and reasoning skills
• Demonstrate strong negotiating and sales abilities
• Possess strong leadership skills
• Possess strong interpersonal skills
• Possess strong organization skills
• Possess effective time management skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and other Microsoft Office products
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts as it relates to real estate
• Knowledge of Internet, Email, and social media as it pertains to marketing of community
• Knowledge of property management software, such as, Onesite, Yardi, RealPage, Knock, RentCafe, Resman, etc.
• Knowledge of business practices and principles
• Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
• Ability to cope with stress in a composed manner
• Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality
• Ability to provide timely and accurate response to clients, Upper Management and the various Corporate depts
• Experience in developing property budgets, as well as dealing with complex operational matters on a daily basis
• Highly motivated team players with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Possess the right attitude, dedication, and training
