About The Position

Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Regional Program Manager Lead. This is a remote work opportunity that can be based from a home office and/or from an approved Eaton Mobility facility within the United States. Preference will be given to candidates residing within the Michigan/Indiana regional areas. The expected annual salary range for this role is $130000 - $190000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. The Regional Program Manager Lead is responsible for supervising and enabling a team of program managers in the successful delivery of complex, global New Product Introduction (NPI), Standard Transition Process (STP), and Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) initiatives. This role will ensure consistent execution of enterprise program management methodologies (e.g., ProLaunch / ProPM) across programs by coaching, guiding, and monitoring program managers, driving governance, accountability, and performance discipline. You will lead cross-functional alignment at the regional level while supporting program managers in resolving risks, escalations, and business challenges. The successful candidate will develop organizational capability by mentoring program managers, strengthening execution maturity, and promoting continuous improvement. This position will lead regional capital planning and prioritization processes in partnership with Operations and Finance, ensuring alignment with program and operational objectives. Eaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. We expect to complete this process by the end of the first half of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the transaction closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain and/or Operations from an accredited institution
  • Minimum ten (10) years experience in manufacturing, operations, engineering, supply chain, program management and/or related business functions within automotive/ industrial manufacturing environments.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience leading complex programs/projects in a global manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple programs to ensure successful delivery of scope, schedule, quality, and financial objectives, while supervising and developing program managers to drive performance and organizational capability.
  • Develop and govern fully integrated program management plans (including WBS, schedules, resource plans, capital requirements, risk registers, and communication frameworks), ensuring alignment across all stakeholders.
  • Drive standardized program management practices, tools, KPIs, and phase-gate governance (e.g., ProLaunch) to ensure transparency, predictability, and disciplined execution.
  • Manage program scope, risks, issues, and opportunities using structured methodologies, ensuring rigorous baseline control, proactive mitigation, and value realization.
  • Align, influence, and hold accountable cross-functional stakeholders to ensure manufacturing readiness, technical maturity, and successful product launch.
  • Build and lead high-performing teams by coaching, mentoring, and providing structured feedback within a matrixed environment, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Define, validate, and manage program business cases by integrating financials, customer requirements, market trends, and competitive dynamics into program strategy and execution.
  • Manage program financial performance, including forecasting, reporting, and variance control, while driving data-informed decisions and trade-offs to protect profitability and strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate customer-related program activities, including requirements alignment, specification updates, and change request tracking, ensuring clear communication and support of program execution.
  • Lead program communication, governance, and transformation activities, including executive reporting, decision forums, organizational change management, capital planning (CARs), automation initiatives, and institutionalization of lessons learned.
  • Coordinate prioritization and resource alignment across multiple programs, balancing competing demands and supporting decision-making at the regional level.
