About The Position

The key responsibility of the Regional Product Manager, in close collaboration with the Global Product Managers, is to develop, execute and review strategic plans to achieve the global company mission. We are looking for candidates with expertise in engineering, market understanding, product planning, forecasting, cost management and marketing at all stages of the product lifecycle with the objective of maximizing sales revenue, market share, and profit margins. What you'll do Participate in the development of and drive the execution of product development strategic plans through extensive knowledge and research of customer needs, market trends, customer/market segmentation, distribution channel characteristics, target market size, external environmental trends, and financial analysis. Identify opportunities for differentiation of our products, services, and solutions that result in industry leading new products and offerings. Provide excellent (internal) customer support on product specific issues and new opportunities. Manage programs for new products through the entire product life cycles. Identify and evaluate new products and offerings and commercial strategy for the Americas according to the established NPD process. Provide content for the overall Go to Market campaign to support the business plan and strategy, work with the Sales Support Solutions team to execute approved campaigns. Assist with developing marketing campaigns and sales programs that improve brand image and drive volume. Support Genie SIOP process and capital investment planning. Drive product specific market research to support product development team. Maintain current knowledge of competitive products, projects, and strategies. Make recommendations for innovative solutions to improve our short-term and long-term competitive position. Ability to prioritize projects, considering customer impact versus available resources. Perform other duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the position. Assess new technologies for NPD vitality implementations. What you'll bring Required Qualifications Bachelor’s in engineering or business, or 7+ years’ relevant experience. Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices involved in new business development, product marketing, and sales within manufacturing and engineering environment. Ability to analyze and guide sound business decisions based on research data and other input. Comfortable demonstrating the complete line of Genie products working at full-extension heights. Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Preferred Qualifications Identify and evaluate new products and offerings and commercial strategy for the Americas market according to the established NPD process. Support Genie SIOP process and capital investment planning. Significant experience in a similar role, having worked with sales. Experience with TBS, training, planning, and financial analysis is a plus. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships, prepare and deliver formal presentations. Strong time management, project management, and problem-solving skills Travel Requires the ability to travel up to 40% of normal work hours. Salary: The salary range for this position is $145,000 - $162,000 USD. The salary range may be higher or lower depending on the applicant’s location. In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in engineering or business, or 7+ years’ relevant experience.
