The Regional Practice Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the practice, including financial, quality, and technical requirements and metrics. This role involves formulating and managing clinic operating budgets, center goals, and continuous improvement plans. The manager will also be responsible for creating and managing marketing activities to ensure a consistent patient flow and communicating effectively with physician partners. The position plans and organizes activities related to clinical services to meet patient needs in accordance with professional standards and ensures adherence to regulatory compliance policies. The role involves developing, implementing, and evaluating methods for efficient use of staff, facilities, equipment, and resources while improving patient care standards. Additionally, the manager monitors and controls department costs, recommends capital equipment acquisition, and works closely with AVP on HR duties such as managing job postings, coordinating interviews, handling applicant responses, maintaining personal files, and overseeing performance evaluations. The role also includes coordinating communication with physician partners, preparing management presentations, tracking operational metrics, consolidating inventory requisitions, developing marketing materials, planning meetings, making travel arrangements, preparing expense reports, and ensuring adherence to safety guidelines and patient confidentiality. The Regional Practice Manager serves as the primary liaison between physician partners, the practice, and AVP, developing relationships with referring agents and obtaining necessary information from referring facilities. The role evaluates clinic activities for patient care, staff relations, and service efficiency, and performs other duties as assigned. Key responsibilities include greeting patients and visitors, providing leadership, coaching, counseling, and mentoring staff, maintaining employee orientation and termination protocols, implementing AVP corporate policies, assisting with employee development plans, administering disciplinary action, assisting with the onboarding of new physicians and allied health professionals, and ensuring timely payroll approval. The manager assesses patient flows to improve efficiency, champions communication huddles and staff meetings, partners with leadership on strategic and financial plans, works with RCM to manage front office operations, prepares financial reconciliations, assists with business development and outreach efforts, and garners partnerships to meet practice goals. They also assist Leads and Office Managers with supply management, maintenance, repair, and equipment purchasing.
