About The Position

At Dentalcorp, we partner with leading dental practices across Canada, providing operational expertise and strategic support that enable clinicians and their teams to focus on delivering exceptional patient care. As Canada’s largest and fastest-growing dental network, we are committed to driving operational excellence and long-term growth. We are seeking a Regional Manager to lead and support a portfolio of dental practices throughout Nova Scotia. Reporting to the Senior Director of Operations, this role provides hands-on leadership, coaching, and strategic direction to Practice Managers and Office Leads. As a key operational leader, you will drive performance across patient experience, financial outcomes, operational excellence, and team engagement — ensuring practices deliver exceptional care while achieving sustainable growth. This is a full-time remote position requiring regular travel three to four days per week within the region.

Requirements

  • University or College Diploma in business or office administration
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Dental Practice Lead or Dental Practice Manager is preferred
  • Experience in a supervisory or management role contributing to business operations including staff scheduling, finances, inventory and people management
  • Strong business acumen and extensive experience in budgeting and forecasting
  • Strong commitment to maintaining health regulation and operational standards
  • Exceptional multi-tasking skills with ability to adapt to change
  • Must have a valid driver ’ s license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Willingness to work varied hours to align with business needs
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with growth and acquisition is considered an asset
  • Experience with dental software systems and Microsoft Office is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee operations of the practice ensuring maximum productivity, operational excellence and develop strategies to increase organic patient growth
  • Drive value for the practice s by optimizing Support Centre services and colleague working relationships
  • Review clinic environment and key business indicators to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement to provide coaching and direction to team
  • Partner with Compliance, DC Institute and Human Resources to ensure the clinic is fully compliant and meets the provincial health regulation standards
  • Manage and oversee all compliance programs within the practice, while leading by example to ensure patient safety is a top priority
  • Work in accordance with the practice’s Health and Safety Policies and Procedures and in compliance with applicable provincial legislation
  • Lead, coach and motivate the team to improve productivity, engagement and retention of patients
  • Drive the implementation of company programs, policies and procedures by supporting action plans and directly motivating the team to meet operational and company objectives
  • Support recruitment efforts to interview dental professionals and assess for best fit
  • Manage and analyze daily staffing costs and payroll administration; oversee accounts receivable process
