About The Position

ASU EdPlus is seeking a Regional Partnership Specialist Senior, California to work on our Partnership Development team on location in California. This role is responsible for managing and scaling institutional partnerships between Arizona State University and a defined set of California Community Colleges. The focus will be on operationalizing transfer pathways, supporting college onboarding, coordinating advising and enrollment workflows, and ensuring partnerships translate into measurable enrollment outcomes. The role requires the individual to be a local resident responsible for California Community Colleges across the Southern California Region (including Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego). Frequent travel is required. This is a systems-oriented partnership role that blends relationship management, execution discipline, and data-informed problem-solving.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
  • Applicant must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Residency in Los Angeles, Orange, or San Diego counties is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with transfer articulation, advising, or enrollment operations.
  • Experience with student recruitment, enrollment, and/or admissions.
  • Evidence of familiarity with California Community College structures and districts.
  • Experience supporting scalable partnership or program models.
  • Experience working with community colleges, higher education partnerships, or statewide systems.
  • Demonstrated strong relationship management and coordination skills.
  • Demonstrated comfort operating in complex, matrixed environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into execution.
  • Evidence of the ability to reside or relocate and travel regionally within California on a frequent basis.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of California Community Colleges, including relational management with various stakeholders, such as advising, enrollment, articulation, marketing, and analytics, to ensure partner success.
  • Lead college-level onboarding into ASU’s transfer partnership model and maintain consistent partnership cadence and communication across colleges.
  • Counsel and advise prospective transfer students on ASU Online programs, admissions processes, transfer credit, and enrollment timelines through multiple modalities; represent ASU Online at college visits, transfer fairs, workshops, presentations, and regional events, with frequent in-person engagement across designated California colleges.
  • Support and collaborate with Local Transfer Ambassadors and embedded ASU Local staff (where applicable).
  • Identify and surface friction points impacting transfer students and work with central teams to resolve.
  • Track partnership health, progress, and enrollment-related outcomes.
  • Prepare executive reports and actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Support practices that enable impact at scale.
  • Contribute ideas and feedback to the central ASU teams that will impact the strategic direction of the partnership broadly.
  • Assume or coordinate other duties or projects as assigned or directed.
