About The Position

Specialty Building Products is seeking a Regional Operations Performance Manager for its Southeast Region. The role partners with divisional and regional leaders, branch managers, operations managers, supervisors, and front-line employees to put company standards into practice, lead improvement projects, support local leaders, and improve service, productivity, quality, and cost. Success requires building strong working relationships, organizing projects, using data to solve problems, and helping ensure that improved processes continue after projects are complete. The manager leads regional projects and problem-solving efforts; implements company operations-improvement programs with location-specific rollouts that maintain company standards; and reviews warehouse, transportation, manufacturing, inventory, and office processes to identify delays and improvement opportunities. The role develops procedures, visual tools, operating reviews, labor plans, and performance checks; supports improvements to warehouse layout and product flow; analyzes operational and financial results; and helps local teams sustain new processes. It coordinates with internal support functions and the Operations Performance Strategy Team, escalates risks and resource needs, documents effective methods, and supports significant operational changes such as branch openings, consolidations, acquisitions, and system rollouts. Specialty Building Products is a distributor of specialty building products operating under several brands, with more than 61 locations across the United States and eight Canadian provinces.
