About The Position

Regional Operations Managers direct and coordinate the management of specific offsite locations within assigned regions of the country. The role includes managing account managers, driver managers, and other office staff, and overseeing the day-to-day functions and all aspects of accounts in the region.

Requirements

• 10 years of logistics and/or transportation experience.
• 7 or more years directing operations with at least $10 million in revenue.
• Experience managing multiple client locations.
• Experience managing multiple direct reports.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of applications.

Nice To Haves

• Six Sigma Green Belt and/or Black Belt quality experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct Account Managers, Supervisors, and Driver Managers in their day-to-day functions.
• Review activity on all assets assigned to each account, including drivers, trucks, and trailers.
• Review and direct staff on issues regarding safety.
• Review and follow up on directives from the Director of Operations for all accounts in the region.
• Maintain good relations with customers of accounts within the region.
• Oversee all aspects of accounts in the assigned region, including the day-to-day functions of on-site staff.
