About The Position

We're seeking a Regional Director of Operations to lead and optimize operations across our veterinary clinic locations in California, Washington, Oregon and Nevada. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you'll oversee significant P&L responsibility while driving operational excellence and business growth across our multi-site network. This remote position requires 70% travel throughout California and the Pacific Northwest to ensure hands-on leadership and support at each location. You'll be responsible for implementing best practices, developing high-performing teams, and ensuring exceptional patient care and client service standards across all clinics.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of multi-location operational leadership experience managing distributed teams.
  • Experience overseeing operations in service-based industries with focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to optimize complex workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven change management expertise in fast-paced environments.
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive leadership experience in multi-site operations, veterinary or healthcare preferred.
  • Track record of managing P&L responsibility and achieving financial targets.
  • Experience leading teams of 50+ employees across multiple locations.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
  • Licensed DVM in good standing, preferred.
  • California residency preferred.

  • Ensure all locations maintain the highest standards of veterinary care while meeting regulatory requirements.
