About The Position

The Regional Nursing Supervisor is responsible for providing ongoing support and oversight of the nursing department along with the Program Directors in the assigned region and the Director of Nursing. This role ensures services are delivered in accordance with Spectrum’s policies and procedures, as well as in compliance with all licensing, accreditation, and regulatory bodies. Key responsibilities include managing the control, counting, and appropriate documentation of onsite medication, including medication destruction and maintaining accuracy of dispensing and inventory records in accordance with state and federal regulations. The position also involves assisting with policy development, implementation, and upholding adherence to quality improvements within the nursing department, as well as recruiting, hiring, scheduling, and training licensed and unlicensed medical staff to meet program staffing needs.

Requirements

  • LPN or RN Nursing license
  • Driver's license required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Correctional Nursing preferred but not required.
