About The Position

Soleo Health is seeking a Full-time, In office, Regional Nurse Supervisor to support out patients in the Hayward, CA and surrounding area. Join us in simplifying complex care! Must be able to work in office.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work Full time, In office, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm, 40 hours per week with flexibility as needed
  • Must be able to drive your own vehicle up to 60 miles one direction to see patients as needed
  • Must be knowledgeable and have used the following IV access devices to include: IV lines, accessing ports, and administration of infusion medications
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years RN experience with a minimum of 1 year home infusion experience including the additional experience below
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year Nurse Supervisory/manager/leadership experience working as an RN
  • Must be able to provide infusions to patients in their homes as well as the infusion suite as needed in the areas of: Hayward, San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, and San Jose
  • Must be able to participate in an on-call rotation: every other week including the weekend
  • Must have California RN License in goodstanding
  • Must have BSN Degree
  • Current RN Licensure by the applicable state’s Board of Nursing, in good standing
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 3 years Nursing practice in a related specialty such as home infusion and or specialty infusion, home health, oncology, nutrition support, IV therapy or critical care
  • Minimum 2 years Pediatric Nursing experience ideal
  • Clinical expertise in IV therapies with monitoring, skill and knowledge of all types of IV lines
  • Minimum 1 year management experience, proven ability to manage, train and educate staff on new protocols and existing standard operating procedures
  • Ability to work with all levels of employees in a fast-paced clinical environment and manage multiple complex projects
  • Knowledge of vascular access devices and infusion therapies
  • Must be able to participate in an on-call rotation
  • Must have emergency availability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office

Nice To Haves

  • Specialty Infusion Pharmacy or Infusion Nurse Manager
  • Advanced certification in specialty areas of practice (e.g. CRNI, ONS, IgRN) preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct and indirect skilled nursing care to patients
  • Implementation and management of physician orders related to nursing
  • Selects, trains, develops, and motivates a highly skilled professional and allied staff.
  • Assures that departmental staff complete orientation, maintain clinical competence, performs supervisory visits, participate in continuing education, received counseling and are evaluated in a timely manner.
  • Assure that patient verification, assessment, teaching and the ongoing scheduling of nursing services occurs in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Assures that all patient related documentation is accurately completed, submitted and/or filed in a timely manner, according to internal and external regulatory requirements and in support of the billing process.
  • Participates in planning, decision-making and implementation of all service center activities that affect clinical nursing services and the performance of the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Secures and maintains all applicable professional certifications, accreditations and employment requirements as required of the nursing staff and department.
  • Coordination of patient care in conjunction with nurse scheduler and or clinical coordinator
  • Assures all nursing documentation is accounted for and billed in a timely manner
  • Promotes efficiency and productivity of nursing dept in conjunction with nurse manager
  • Works closely with the Nurse Manager and Operations Manager to assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate clinical and administrative policies, procedures, programs and systems.
  • Assures own professional growth and clinical competence.
  • Adheres to all policies, procedures and standards of conduct.
  • Reports to the appropriate management any known or suspected violations of policies, procedures, regulations or standards of conduct.
