About The Position

Soleo Health is seeking a Full time Regional Nurse Manager to support our Specialty Infusion Pharmacy patients in the Woodridge, IL and surrounding areas. This role requires the individual to work 100 percent in office and travel as needed to locations within the assigned region. The Regional Nurse Manager will be responsible for the administration of Nursing services within the region, directing, planning, and coordinating service activities and staffing performance of professional nursing and auxiliary nursing personnel to ensure quality patient care. The role also involves providing direct patient care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN or MSN preferred.
  • Current RN Licensure by the applicable state(s) Board of Nursing, in good standing - Illinois.
  • Minimum 5 years Nursing practice in a related specialty such as home infusion and/or specialty infusion, home health, oncology, nutrition support, IV therapy, or critical care.
  • Minimum 2 years management experience, with a proven ability to manage, train, and educate staff on new protocols and existing standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to work with all levels of employees in a fast-paced clinical environment and manage multiple complex projects.
  • Knowledge of vascular access devices and infusion therapies.
  • Knowledge of State licensed, non-certified, home health agency regulations as applicable.
  • Ability to directly supervise and manage staff for a licensed home health agency as applicable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.
  • Must have experience working as a Nurse Manager/Regional Nurse manager, Specialty Infusion Pharmacy preferred.
  • Must have a multistate RN license for the state of Illinois in good standing or willingness to obtain.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 5 years Pediatric Nursing experience ideal.
  • Advanced certification a plus (i.e., CRNI, IgCN).

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct and indirect skilled nursing care to patients, including patient assessment, clinical and environmental assessment, patient and caregiver teaching, development and revision of the plan of care, skilled nursing care, implementation of physician orders, monitoring of patient response, response to emergency patient needs, and psychosocial support.
  • Selects, trains, develops, and motivates a highly skilled professional nursing and allied staff.
  • Assures that departmental staff complete orientation, maintain clinical competence, participate in continuing education, receive counseling, and are evaluated in a timely manner.
  • Oversees the receipt, evaluation, acceptance, and execution of the initial patient intake process to ensure timely and appropriate patient verification, assessment, teaching, and scheduling of nursing services.
  • Ensures that all patient-related documentation and clinical and departmental reports are accurately completed, submitted, and/or filed in a timely manner, adhering to internal and external regulatory requirements and supporting the billing process.
  • Participates in the planning, decision-making, and implementation of all service center activities affecting clinical nursing services and the performance of the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Assists in the management of a department budget using a modified primary nursing model and ensures other department functions proceed without interruption.
  • Secures and maintains all applicable internal, professional, local, state, federal, and voluntary licensures, certifications, accreditations, and employment requirements for staff and the department.
  • Works closely with the Regional Business Leader, VP of Nursing, and Area Vice President to assess, plan, develop, implement, and evaluate clinical and administrative policies, procedures, programs, and systems.
  • Assures own professional growth and clinical competence.
  • Adheres to all policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.
  • Reports any known or suspected violations of policies, procedures, regulations, or standards of conduct to the appropriate management.
  • Completes all necessary managerial tasks for direct reports, including hiring, training, addressing performance issues, developing team goals and objectives, performance reviews, conflict resolution, and strategic planning.
  • Must be able to provide infusions to patients in their homes as well as the infusion suite as needed.
  • Must be knowledgeable and have used the following IV access devices: IV lines, accessing ports, and administration of infusion medications.
