As a Regional Merchant Lead (Outside Sales Representative), you will be responsible for the entire sales cycle of onboarding new restaurant partners to DoorDash. This is a fast-paced, transactional sales role that involves prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals with local and regional merchants within your assigned market. You will engage directly with restaurant owners, conducting in-person pitches, building strong local relationships, and introducing them to DoorDash’s various offerings. Key aspects include negotiating revenue share agreements, selling multi-product solutions, and demonstrating how a partnership with DoorDash can foster business growth. This is a field sales position requiring travel within the region, with over 50% of your time spent in-field meeting merchants (typically 2-3 days per week). There is also flexibility to work remotely or from a DoorDash office, and travel for in-person collaboration, training, offsites, and team-building events will be required as needed.
