About The Position

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking a Full-time Regional Mental Health Director to join our team in Jessup, Maryland. The Regional Mental Health Director is a key member of the Mental Health Leadership Team and is responsible for planning, supervising, managing and evaluating the regional mental health team program to ensure needs for services are met for patients in a correctional setting.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree in psychology strongly preferred. Master’s level degree in counseling, social work, or psychiatric nursing with correctional mental health experience may be acceptable
• Current licensure to practice medicine in state required
• Board certification or board eligible for certification in psychiatry if required
• Three to five years’ experience in a progressive supervisory or management position
• Three to five years’ mental health experience in a correctional or mental health environment preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
