Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in nursing home bookkeeping.
Responsibilities
- The Regional Medicaid Eligibility Advisor is the subject matter expert on Revenue Cycle Management Medicaid Eligibility and strives to improve the quality of all revenue cycle management Medicaid Eligibility related functions, from patient pre-admission to discharge, optimizing revenue collection.
- Collaborate with nursing center staff to work towards positive Medicaid Eligibility accounts receivable outcomes
- Ensure efficient resource allocation to assist nursing centers and effective training environments that measure learning progress
- Serve as the liaison between Business Office Managers, Market Medicaid Advisor, Market Floating Medicaid Specialists, and the National Pending team.
- Work with the state and county case workers to ensure positive accounts receivable results.
- Identify and help problem-solve nursing center-specific Medicaid challenges that hinder the timely collection of accounts receivable.
