About The Position

Blue Water Hospitality is seeking an independent, take-charge Regional Marketing Manager to develop, coordinate, and execute marketing strategies across an assigned portfolio. This role requires meeting tight deadlines with little supervision and willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends. The ideal candidate will have a passion for increasing the digital relevance of assigned properties, providing outstanding customer service, and building strong relationships with properties, vendors, and partners. This position is responsible for managing marketing budgets and associated revenue for each entity and can be remote, hybrid, or based in Ocean City, MD.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Arts, Graphics, Communication, or a related field.
  • Multi-property, multi-store, or regional experience in marketing or digital marketing.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with integrative marketing technologies.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong understanding of Google Analytics, social media, and Email Marketing.
  • Strong project management skills; able to work independently on multiple assignments while maintaining high-quality results; deadline- and detail-oriented.
  • Able to work collaboratively with a team and independently without supervision.
  • Strong creative vision, with an understanding of business objectives and budgeting.
  • Positive, can-do attitude; flexibility, adaptability, and business acumen.
  • Basic understanding of graphic design.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Regional Marketer for the assigned portfolio, focusing on the region, guests, and amenities.
  • Create and manage the portfolio's strategic marketing playbook, marketing budget, and associated key performance indicators.
  • Process all marketing request forms generated from the portfolio, providing timely feedback and assignment updates.
  • Foster open communication between operations and marketing to effectively convey marketing requests and needs.
  • Provide strategic advice on the most effective marketing channels and recommend spend-per-channel allocations.
  • Oversee all marketing channels for the assigned region, including email, digital, social, PR, blog content, photo/video shoots, and graphic design, and provide monthly analytics and ROI reports.
  • Create, design, and execute all marketing materials for the assigned portfolio.
  • Support the execution of brand initiatives and strategies, thinking creatively to develop fresh and compelling concepts.
  • Adhere to brand standards in the development of all campaigns and materials.
  • Provide direction, content, and approvals for social media to outsourced marketing partners on a monthly calendar basis.
  • Create ads or provide instructions for rectifying monthly social ad spending to outsourced vendors.
  • Manage on-property photo/video needs, including shot list creation, channel specifications, and coordination of scheduling for vendors.
  • Research geographic and demographic information of the assigned portfolio to create plans for new tactics and media buys.
  • Identify and contribute best practices, new technologies, and initiatives to the overall marketing team.
  • Visit each assigned property once a year.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Provide regular and reliable attendance.
