$125,000 - $175,000Onsite

About The Position

Risk Ledger is expanding into the US and is seeking its first dedicated in-market marketing hire. This role will work directly with the US Regional Sales Director and will be responsible for the top of the sales funnel. While collaborating with the UK-based Head of Marketing and marketing team to utilize core systems, the day-to-day mission is to build awareness and capture demand to fuel the US go-to-market strategy. This position is ideal for a hands-on, commercially minded marketer who enjoys autonomy and is excited by the challenge of establishing a new market from the ground up. The role is a broad regional position encompassing campaigns, events, content localization, HubSpot execution, and local market learning, with the primary goal of enhancing the initial stages of the sales funnel, creating momentum in the US, and establishing a predictable pipeline engine.

Requirements

  • Zero-to-one marketing experience in a B2B cybersecurity, risk, compliance, or GRC startup.
  • Experience as part of an early-stage team (Pre-Seed or Seed) that scaled marketing through Series A or B.
  • 3-5 years of B2B marketing experience with a proven track record in demand generation and demand capture.
  • Ability to engage a technical audience effectively.
  • Strong, hands-on HubSpot skills, including building, tracking, and optimizing marketing operational workflows.
  • Comfort working independently, managing multiple campaign deadlines, and executing across events, content, and digital channels.
  • A commercial mindset, understanding how top-of-funnel efforts directly contribute to sales revenue.
  • Experience working closely with sales teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Deep familiarity with supply chain risk, third-party risk management (TPRM), or highly regulated industries.
  • Experience supporting a UK/European company entering the US market.
  • Exposure to modern GTM tools and tech stacks (e.g., ABM platforms, intent data, LinkedIn Ads, Salesforce, Clay, Lemlist, Factors.ai).

Responsibilities

  • Own the top of the US funnel to establish the company's footprint, focusing on generating and capturing demand.
  • Design and execute regional campaigns, leverage digital channels, and create buzz to increase awareness among US security leaders.
  • Manage hands-on campaign execution in HubSpot, including lists, emails, landing pages, forms, workflows, and tracking, to capture interest and generate inbound leads.
  • Plan and deliver targeted US event activities such as intimate dinners, roundtables, webinars, and partner sessions to generate pipeline with target accounts.
  • Collaborate with the UK marketing team and local freelancers to adapt core messaging and ensure campaign assets, event copy, email sequences, and blogs are relevant to the US cybersecurity and risk market.
  • Act as the company's 'eyes and ears' on the ground, gathering local market insights to inform the wider team about what is resonating, which channels are effective, and where to focus efforts.

Benefits

  • Compensation via an hourly/monthly rate as an alternative to a fixed-term contract salary.
