About The Position

The Regional Market Advisor in the Permian Basin serves as the company’s local market connector and intelligence resource, focused on strengthening relationships, improving market visibility, and providing real-time insight into customer activity across the Permian Basin. This role does not carry direct sales, operational, or P&L responsibility. Its value is in access, awareness, and influence—helping the business make better commercial and operational decisions through strong local presence and trusted relationships.

Requirements

  • Strong familiarity with the Permian Basin market
  • Experience in business, community leadership, or relationship-based roles

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
  • Established local network and relationships preferred
  • Prior oil & gas experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing insight into customer activity and priorities, competitor presence and positioning, and local market trends (rig activity, production shifts, service demand).
  • Identify emerging opportunities and risks and communicate them to Sales and Operations leadership.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Permian Basin dynamics.
  • Build and maintain relationships with executives, operators, field-level decision makers, and local industry contacts and service providers.
  • Facilitate introductions and connections between customers and internal teams.
  • Strengthen the company’s local presence and reputation.
  • Partner with Sales teams to provide local context and relationship access.
  • Partner with Field Operations (AMS & Contract Compression) to align on customer needs and expectations.
  • Participate in customer meetings as appropriate to support relationship continuity and trust-building.
  • Provide feedback on customer experience and service perception.
  • Represent the company at local industry events, community engagements, and customer sites (as appropriate).
  • Enhance brand presence in the Permian Basin through consistent, professional engagement.
  • Deliver regular updates to leadership on market conditions, relationship developments, and competitive insights.
  • Ensure key stakeholders have timely, actionable information to support decision-making.
