About The Position

MultiCare’s Pulse Heart Institute is a physician-led institute with multi-specialty partnership with Cardiothoracic surgery, vascular and cardiovascular service lines. Our team and state-of-the-art programs create a world-class health care organization and the destination center for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular care with complex structural heart disease and interventions, advanced heart failure service as well as advanced imaging with cutting edge technologies. This position oversees three locations and five specialties: Tacoma (5th and L building) for Vascular Surgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery; Gig Harbor for General Cardiology and Heart Failure; and Silverdale for General Cardiology and Electrophysiology. The Regional Manager position is a lead administrative position responsible for the oversight and management of the daily operations for multiple affiliated health care physician practices/ancillary services that are geographically dispersed, but proximate to Tacoma, Washington. The Regional Manager will need to travel to the various clinics on a regular basis. This individual maintains broad responsibilities for all administrative functions of the practice locations, including operations, marketing, finance, assisting in managed care/third party contracting when requested, physician compensation and reimbursement information when requested, human resource management, medical and business information systems, ancillary service general knowledge and planning and development. Hospital-based leaders may have a dual matrixed reporting structure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, four (4) years of experience in lieu of the degree will be considered
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in the specialty field
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in a supervisory or lead capacity

Responsibilities
