Regional Manager
About The Position
An established multifamily management company is seeking an experienced Regional Manager to oversee a portfolio of apartment communities throughout the Indianapolis area. This role is ideal for a driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can prioritize competing demands, and knows how to build accountability across multiple onsite teams. We're looking for someone who leads by example. Someone who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves when needed, keeps projects moving, and understands the importance of urgency, communication, and execution. Experience with property transitions, renovations, lease-up activity, or value-add assets is highly desirable.
Requirements
- Regional management experience within conventional multifamily housing
- Experience overseeing Class A and Class B apartment communities
- Background supporting renovations, repositioning, lease-ups, or other value-add initiatives
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop teams and delegate effectively
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivated with a hands-on leadership style and a strong work ethic
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout the Indianapolis market

Responsibilities
- Provide operational leadership for a portfolio of apartment communities
- Coach, mentor, and hold onsite teams accountable for performance
- Prioritize initiatives and delegate effectively while maintaining a strong sense of urgency
- Drive occupancy, financial performance, resident satisfaction, and operational excellence
- Partner with site teams to execute renovation, capital improvement, and lease-up initiatives
- Conduct regular property visits to ensure standards, compliance, and asset performance
- Analyze property performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with executive leadership to achieve portfolio goals
