About The Position

Ossium is seeking a Regional Manager, Orthopedics to lead selling and commercial efforts within a defined territory for their growing organization. This role will focus on the Ossigraft portfolio of orthopedic products, driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and strengthening key customer relationships. The position is field-based in the broader Midwest region, with ideal metro areas including Chicago, St. Louis, Indianapolis, or Kansas City. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of a major airport. The role involves executing the commercial strategy by maintaining a strong field presence, meeting with surgeons, physicians, and clinical staff to promote the biologics portfolio, provide product education, and support clinical adoption. Responsibilities include delivering presentations, conducting in-service training, and providing operating room case coverage. The Regional Manager will identify opportunities to expand business within existing accounts and develop new relationships across hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and specialty clinics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Life Sciences, or related field preferred)
  • 3–5 years of experience in medical device sales, specifically within the biologics space
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas
  • Strong clinical acumen and ability to engage in high-level medical discussions
  • Experience selling into operating rooms and hospital environments preferred
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and territory planning capabilities
  • Ability to travel within the assigned region as needed (50-75%)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Capability to operate with a high level of organization and excellent time management in a dynamic startup environment
  • Candidates must reside within 50 miles of a major airport

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute regional sales strategy for the Ossigraft product portfolio
  • Drive revenue growth and consistently achieve or exceed sales targets
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within hospitals, surgery centers, and physician offices
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, clinical staff, supply chain, and administrative stakeholders
  • Provide product education, training, and in-service support to clinical teams
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and executive leadership to align commercial initiatives
  • Analyze regional performance metrics and develop action plans to optimize results
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and industry guidelines
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM documentation
  • Targeting and onboarding new distribution opportunities to drive revenue growth
  • Meeting with customers and providing clinical sales support
  • Working with key decision makers to facilitate hospital approvals and contracting
  • Attending industry conferences and meetings
