About The Position

We are seeking a full-time Regional Manager of Operations to join our growing dental group. This role will oversee multiple practices within the our Washington South region, ensuring excellent patient experience, operational consistency, financial performance, and strong team culture. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with proven multi-site operations experience, excellent communication skills, and a hands-on approach to coaching and process improvement. Schedule: Monday–Friday with regular on-site visits across the region; occasional evenings or weekends as needed for practice openings or special events Compensation: Competitive base salary plus performance-based bonus and comprehensive benefits

Requirements

  • Must live in the Central or South Puget Sound area (Olympia, Tacoma)
  • 5+ years of progressive operations or multi-site management experience within Dental and/or a Dental Service Organization (DSO)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead distributed teams and drive measurable performance improvements
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, P&L, and performance metrics
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Familiarity with dental practice management software (e.g., Open Dental, Dentrix) preferred
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements (OSHA, HIPAA, infection control) and best practices for clinical compliance
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region
  • Occasional overnight and/or out of state travel for meetings, trainings, and company events
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop practice managers and regional staff to deliver consistent, high-quality patient care and service
  • Drive operational excellence across locations by implementing standardized processes for scheduling, sterilization, inventory, and clinical workflows
  • Monitor financial performance (revenue, production, collections, payroll) and partner with practice leaders to meet or exceed targets
  • Conduct regular site visits and audits to ensure compliance with clinical protocols, OSHA/HIPAA requirements, and infection control standards
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and retention initiatives to build high-performing, patient-centered teams
  • Implement training programs, study clubs, and continuing education opportunities to develop clinical and front-office skills
  • Collaborate with marketing and patient experience teams to grow patient base and strengthen community relationships
  • Manage regional budgets, supply ordering processes, and vendor relationships to control costs and maintain equipment
  • Partner with clinical leadership to support quality improvement, case acceptance strategies, and use of clinical technology
  • Act as a regional escalation point for patient concerns and ensure timely, empathetic resolution
