About The Position

The Regional Manager (RM) for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) is responsible for overseeing all facets of LPG supply, shipping, distribution, safety, and operations within the designated region. This includes ensuring strict adherence to all safety regulations and company policies. The role also involves developing and implementing business strategies aimed at fostering growth and enhancing profitability within the region. The RM will work closely with Sol market General Managers (GMs) to provide support in sales, operations, and safety. A key focus will be on growing the wholesale LPG sales segment and managing supply agreements for LPG delivered via vessel to both Sol and third-party customers. The position requires strong leadership to supervise, coach, motivate, and develop team members, including establishing training plans for their professional growth. The RM will also be responsible for monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities and formulate effective strategies, as well as developing and managing budgets and financial plans, and preparing performance reports for senior management. Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards is paramount, alongside developing and implementing operational policies and procedures for efficiency and effectiveness. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in LPG, including 2 years in a managerial role.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute business strategies to drive growth and profitability.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong understanding of safety regulations and industry standards.
Ability to travel frequently within the region.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with the proven ability to work well in cross-functional teams and independently with limited supervision.
Exceptional analytical skills with a keen ability to dissect data and present same to senior management.
Strong technical competency on MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of LPG sales, operations, and safety within the region.
Work closely with Sol market GMs to support the markets in sales, operations and safe operations.
Develop and grow the wholesale LPG sales segment.
Manage supply agreements for LPG delivered to Sol and other third-party customers by vessel.
Oversee supply and ship operations.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Supervise, coach, motivate and develop team members while establishing training plans to assist them in reaching their full potential.
Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth and profitability.
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customers’ needs to identify opportunities and develop effective strategies.
Develop and manage budgets and financial plans for the business line.
Prepare and present regular reports on performance, financials, and other key metrics to senior management.
Ensure adherence to all relevant safety regulations and company policies.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards in the jurisdictions that apply.
