About The Position

Baltic Street Wellness Solutions is seeking a Regional Manager for their Adult Home Initiative program. Candidates with mental health lived experience are encouraged to apply. Requirements

  • High School diploma required.
  • New York State Certified Peer Specialists certification (Active) - or must be Certified within 6 months of hiring.
  • Experience working with individuals that receive behavioral health services.
  • Minimum two years of Management and Leadership Experience.
  • Ability to work as an effective team member is essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet navigation
  • Knowledge of government entitlement programs with a minimum of one year of Human Services Experience.

  • Knowledge of AWARDS/Foothold is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate trainings, maintaining departmental filings standards, and making sure staff are progressing towards all proper certifications
  • Assure staff are working towards goals for Peer Certification(s), and any other webinars or trainings Agency/Division Director sees fit
  • Generate write-ups when staff aren’t complying within company standards
  • Maintain/update fire drill log, staff scheduling and staff medical documentation
  • Comply with all guidelines to protect participants confidential documentation, maintain Department of Mental Health and Hygiene correspondence
  • Review, audit, and file participants charts on a monthly to quarterly basis, ensuring staff’s efficiency while upholding filing standards
  • Maintain fire drill logs, staff scheduling and coverage when staff members are absent
  • Distribute/maintain Metro-Cards, postage stamps, policy/procedure development, petty cash any check requests as needed
  • Attend manager’s meeting twice a month relaying any relevant information to departmental staff members
  • Continue to demonstrate competence in a culturally skilled manner, always looking for opportunities for staff development
  • Conduct community outreach with other non-profit agencies or advocacy groups in the community
