Requirements

Minimum 10 years of maintenance experience required
Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience
Minimum 5 years within the apartment or multifamily industry
HVAC Certification required
CPO Certification required
Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
Ability to travel regularly throughout the region

Responsibilities

Lead and support on-site maintenance teams in diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, appliances, and more
Drive performance improvements and implement strategies that enhance maintenance team effectiveness
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and all applicable building codes
Contribute expert insight to annual budgeting and identify capital projects nearing end-of-life
Oversee completion of capital projects on time and within budget
Partner in hiring, training, and developing maintenance supervisors and team members
Provide interim property support during staffing gaps
Conduct property audits, inspections, and ensure high standards for service requests, curb appeal, and unit turns
Collaborate with Regional Managers to resolve site challenges and enhance operations
Lead preventative maintenance programs and safety audits
Manage vendor relationships and support rehab and due diligence projects
Facilitate monthly portfolio meetings and quarterly property inspections
