About The Position
Under general direction, the Regional Maintenance Manager is responsible for repairs and maintenance of the physical plant and grounds of each hotel within the region. The role preserves Company assets in a safe and cost-effective manner in accordance with Company programs and procedures. The manager oversees necessary repairs, monitors preventive maintenance procedures, and trains property maintenance personnel to maintain their properties.
Requirements
- General knowledge of building maintenance principles and practices.
- Skill and ability to repair complex heating, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Ability to evaluate building problems and recommend solutions, including cost estimates for repairs.
- Ability to communicate clearly with managers and other hotel staff.
- Ability to train others in effective methods.
- Knowledge of local codes and ordinances.
