About The Position
Under general direction, responsible for repairs and maintenance of the physical plant and grounds of each hotel within the region to preserve Company assets in a safe and cost-effective manner in accordance with the Company’s programs and procedures. Manages necessary repairs and monitors preventive maintenance procedures. Trains property maintenance personnel to maintain property.
Requirements
- General knowledge of building maintenance principles and practices
- Skill and ability to repair complex heating, air conditioning, plumbing and electrical systems
- Ability to evaluate building problems and recommend solutions to include cost estimates for the repair
- Ability to communicate clearly with the managers and other hotel staff
- Ability to train others in effective methods
- Knowledge of local codes and ordinances
