Requirements

• Background screening and a drug test required

Nice To Haves

• A college degree is helpful but not required
• Leasing experience also helps, but is not required
• Knowledge of RealPage/LRO and One-Site preferred
• Bi-lingual helps

Responsibilities

• Conduct apartment tours with prospective residents
• Complete leasing agent documents and collect rental deposits
• Ensure "model" apartments are ready to be shown
• Understand lease terms, specifications, and all community policies
• Utilize leasing agent sales and closing techniques
• Maintain knowledge of the current market, pricing, and community amenities
• Maintain contact with apartment locator services and local businesses
• Shop local competitor communities
• Develop full knowledge of application information, screening processes, and rental policies
• Conduct outreach marketing at least once per week
• Develop and maintain an ongoing resident retention program
• Organize all resident and property files
• Handle resident requests and complaints appropriately
• Contribute towards the collection of delinquent rents
