About The Position

We’re hiring a Launch Manager to lead launch management across the US/Canada and Mexico region. Reporting to the Regional Launch Leadership Team, this role is based within the Clarios USCAN Operating System and collaborates cross-functionally with engineering, operations, supply chain, and quality teams. It is a high-impact position responsible for driving launch execution, escalation management, and integration of the D3 development methodology. The Launch Management function ensures successful product, process, and strategic program launches across the enterprise. This group is critical to aligning cross-functional swim-lanes, ensuring accountability, resource planning, and customer satisfaction. It plays a key role in sustaining business growth and operational excellence while supporting Clarios’ global strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent operations experience.
  • Minimum 5 years leading and managing teams in engineering, operations, or program management.
  • Proven success in managing multiple product development programs through launch with ownership of budget, cost, and timing.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years in program/project management leadership within automotive launch management.
  • Multi-functional experience across product design, validation, manufacturing engineering, and operations.
  • Experience negotiating complex matters and facilitating cross-functional project teams.
  • Willingness to travel 30–40%.

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise-wide launch initiatives (process, product, automation, environmental, quality) to achieve KPIs in safety, cost, timing, quality, and delivery.
  • Drive adherence to D3 Glidepath methodologies and Clarios USCAN Operating System standards.
  • Manage Red Flag escalation, proactively resolving issues that jeopardize scope, timing, or cost.
  • Oversee engineering change management (ECO, ETC, MSO, MOC) to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Coordinate plant readiness activities including validation builds, DOE, PV, PSO, and run-at-rate events.
  • Build and develop a high-performing team through servant leadership, succession planning, and collaboration across functions.
