About The Position
HiFyve is hiring a Regional Sales Agent in Northern California! This role focuses on developing new business and strengthening existing relationships across Property & Casualty, Workers’ Compensation, health insurance, benefits, farm, and agribusiness insurance products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field, or equivalent education and experience
- 2+ years of sales experience; insurance, marketing, communications, or business development experience preferred
- Agricultural or agribusiness experience preferred
- Strong relationship-building, communication, presentation, and sales skills
- Ability to independently manage a territory and develop new business
- Must obtain a Property & Casualty license within 90 days of hire
- Must obtain a Life/Health insurance license within 6 months of hire
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to travel 75%-100%, typically 3+ weeks per month
Responsibilities
- Develop new business and achieve sales goals throughout the assigned territory
- Meet with customers and prospects through regular farm and on-site visits to assess insurance needs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cooperative members, key accounts, and prospective customers
- Gather information and documentation needed for insurance submissions and coordinate with internal teams and carrier partners
- Develop customer acquisition and retention strategies with sales leadership
- Maintain accurate records of customer activity, communications, and sales metrics
- Stay current on market conditions, insurance products, and applicable regulatory requirements
- Travel extensively throughout the assigned Northern California territory
