About The Position
SP Industries, Inc is looking for a Regional HSE Specialist that can successfully build safety programs in two locations: Warminster, PA & Gardiner, NY. This person must be able to demonstrate working through multiple leadership teams to accomplish goals and drive safety improvements.
Requirements
- Proven success in multi-facility role dealing with multiple site leadership teams.
- Ability to travel ~33%
- Experience with managing incidents and conducting root cause analysis to determine proper corrective actions
- Must be able to successfully navigate digital environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a lean systems environment preferred
- Experience with Human & Organization Performance preferred
Responsibilities
- Establish and support regional HSE programs
- Serve as core member of Site Leadership Teams
- Manage all HSE Events, Near Misses, and Hazard Identifications in Velocity
- Facilitate/assist in HSE Event Investigations & Root Cause Analysis
- Coordinate successful completion of internal audit action items
- Identify, evaluate, and assist in correcting workplace hazards
- Manage PPE program for each facility
- Facilitate productive JHSC meetings, engaging the team in safety processes
- Provide guidance and assistance in risk assessments of work processes
- Provide instructor led-training to all necessary employees
- Drive completion of annual HSE plan for facility
- Assist in problem solving using ABM tools
