About The Position

The Regional Human Resources Generalist serves as a trusted HR partner to an assigned group of Suite Living Senior Care communities and their leadership teams. This position provides hands-on support across a broad range of human resources functions, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits and leave administration, compliance, performance management, unemployment and workers' compensation, and HR reporting. The Regional HR Generalist will regularly visit assigned communities, build strong relationships with employees and leaders, identify HR needs, provide guidance on employment practices and company policies, and help ensure consistent application of HR processes across the organization. Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional HR experience supporting a variety of HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, leave administration, or related areas.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, managers, and leadership.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing needs.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a collaborative HR team.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Experience working with an HRIS system.
  • Experience with online job boards and applicant tracking systems.
  • Must have a valid Minnesota driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between assigned communities.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience working in healthcare, senior living, assisted living, long-term care, hospice, or another regulated healthcare environment.
  • Experience supporting multiple locations or operating as a field/regional HR professional.
  • Working knowledge of Minnesota employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience with unemployment claims and hearings.
  • Experience with workers' compensation processes.
  • Experience with employee leave administration, including FMLA and Paid Leave.
  • Experience coaching managers through employee relations and corrective action matters.
  • Experience with iSolved is preferred.
  • Experience with Indeed, ApplicantPro, or iSolved Talent is preferred.
