About The Position

The Regional General Manager, Industrial Sales is responsible for leading and executing the strategic sales direction within a defined geographic region across Plaskolite’s industrial channel. This role drives revenue growth, strengthens key customer relationships, and ensures alignment with Plaskolite’s broader commercial objectives. The Regional GM is accountable for achieving sales targets, managing regional profitability, and fostering a high-performance sales culture rooted in Plaskolite’s core values of integrity, teamwork, and customer-centricity. This leader serves as a key liaison between customers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure the value proposition is effectively delivered and continuously improved. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality—reflecting Plaskolite’s core values of Integrity and Improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the regional sales strategy in alignment with national goals and Plaskolite’s overall commercial strategy.
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities in existing and new industrial accounts, including bundling opportunities and strategic partnerships.
  • Promote entire portfolio of products and solutions to customers in prioritized markets
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with top regional accounts and key decision-makers.
  • Serve as the escalation point for high-impact customer issues and work cross-functionally to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a regional sales team to meet performance expectations and professional development goals. Conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Promote a collaborative, accountable culture that supports the 'One Plaskolite' initiative and cross-regional alignment.
  • Drive revenue and gross margin performance in the region; manage pricing decisions within corporate guidelines.
  • Monitor regional performance metrics and use data to drive continuous improvement and sales efficiency.
  • Partner with Product Management, Marketing, Customer Service, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure consistent service and support for customers.
  • Provide market feedback to internal teams to support product development, branding initiatives, and operational improvements.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning to anticipate changes and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Represent Plaskolite at trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events as needed.
